Kogi election: ODU declares support for Ododo, APC candidate

Members of Ochiga Descendant Union (ODU) in Ihima, Okehi local government area of Kogi state have endorsed the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, in the forthcoming November 11th election.

The Chairman , Abuja branch of ODU Ibrahim Seidu, stated this while declaring the union’s support for the candidacy of Ododo, in Ihima, said the candidate has the capacity to take the state to a greater height of economic and infrastructure development.

While reeling out some of the achievements of Governor Bello’s administration, he mentioned that the governor has performed excellently well in the areas of security, infrastructural development, health, education and human resources development which he said are second to none in the history of Kogi state.

He stated that a replacement that will continue in the same direction in the interest of the good people of Kogi state is necessary, noting that the choice of Ododo as the the candidate of APC will guarantee consolidation of achievements of governor Bello.

In his remarks, the Chairman Okehi local government area Abdulraheem Ohiare , said Governor Bello has laid down solid foundation that required a competent and experience person that can consolidate on the numerous achievements of the current administration, noting that Ododo has been tested , trusted and capable to succeed governor Bello.

Ohiare appealed to the people of the state to vote for Ododo for development, stability, security and progress of the state.

Engr. Mohammed Ohieku who represented the APC candidate at the occasion urged the people of Ihima community and the entire state who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to do so before the governorship election.

He pointed out that the power to elect the candidate of APC lies in the PVC.
