Keffi varsity VC hails Muslims at Sallah, urges unity

The Vice Chancellor of the Nasarawa State University Keffi, Prof. Suleiman

Mohammed has felicitated with Muslim Ummah across the country and beyond during the Eid-Kabir celebration.

Speaking at his country home in Laminga, Nasarawa state during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and after observing the ra’kat prayers, the renowned Professor of Sociology thanked Almighty Allah for good health to witness the celebration.

Reminding the Muslim Ummah of their responsibilities to always serve God in truth, dedication and faithfulness, the VC pointed out that Eid-el-Kabir is historic and significant as it symbolises sacrifice, devotion and commitment to the will of Almighty Allah.

“I urge Muslim Ummah in Nasarawa State University Keffi, those in Laminga, the entire Nasarawa state and Nigeria as a whole to take the lessons of this celebration in our daily life activities for positive changes that affect the way we do things and remain committed to Nigeria project,” the VC appealed.

Prof. Mohammed assured Muslims and none-Muslims alike that great prospects lie ahead for Nasarawa state and Nigeria in general if we working together in unity, peace, progress and development to realize our goals and potentials.

“It is by working together in peace, living in harmony, ensuring stability, progress, development and growth that the Nigeria project can be sustained and maintained and our full potentials realized, the VC stressed.
