Kebbi: Idris assures corps members of security, welfare 

Kebbi state governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has assured corps members deployed to the state of their safety and protection in the course of their national service.

The governor gave the assurance during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2023 Batch C Stream 1 orientation course at the Dakingari Orientation Camp, Suru local government area on Tuesday.

Idris said the Land of Equity has been known for its peaceful atmosphere for all categories of people irrespective of their religious or ethnic differences. 

He affirmed that the state government would also do its best to ensure the general welfare of corps members posted to the State throughout their stay.

Earlier, Kebbi NYSC state coordinator, Mrs. Okolo Agatha Banki, congratulated them on behalf of the Director General of the NYSC, Brig General YD Ahmed.

She thanked the governor for supporting the NYSC and appealed for sustained relationship. 

A total number of 1,572 corps members deployed to Kebbi and 247  (Zamfara) were sworn in at the orientation camp.
