Kano: Why education has lion share in 2024 budget – Commissioner

The Commissioner, Ministry of Planning and Budget in Kano, Musa Suleiman Shanono, has revealed that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s led administration’s resolve to improve the standard of education and revive the sector in the state is the reason why the sector gets the largest allocation in the 2024 budget.

Shanono made this known at a press briefing and breakdown of the 2024 budget with journalists and civil society organisations in his office Tuesday evening.
