The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), Kebbi state governor, National President of Nigerian Union of Teachers and other dignitaries have commended Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state over the appointment of Mr. Jerry Adams, a season tax administrator as chairman, Kaduna state Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS).
The CDS and the governors spoke through their deputies
and gave the commendation weekend during a dinner party in honour of Mr. Adams at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Hall, Kaduna.
The Kaduna state deputy governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, who represented Governor Sani urged Mr. Adams to improve the revenue generation of the state through tax so that residents can enjoy dividends of democracy.
She said Jerry’s appointment was a well-deserved appointment of a person with the capacity and energy to develop the state.
Dr. Hadiza who served as the mother of the day said the humility, commitment to duty, and achievement of Jerry was second to none.
She prayed to God for his tenure to be marked with intelligence, success, wisdom, and guidance.
The CDS, who was represented by Maj. Gen. Mark Mammon as chairman of the occasion, urged Mr. Adams to remain diligent in discharging his duties.
He extended gratitude to Governor Sani for appointing a distinguished individual from Southern Kaduna to oversee such a powerful organisation while emphasising the importance of transparency and accountability.
