The Kaduna state government in collaboration with Nigerian Legion have concluded arrangements for the launch and sales of emblem in respect of 2022/2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration.
A statement by the chairman, Nigerian Legion, Kaduna state chapter, Major Danjuma Baren (Rtd), said the event will take place Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 at the Arewa House, Kaduna.
He said emblem launch is usually organised towards generating funds and assistance for the legionnaires, especially the disabled soldiers, widows, and children of the victims who lost their lives in the course of defending the sovereignty of the country.
Major Baren added that during the occasion of the emblem launch by the Kaduna state governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, donations are expected to be made by state and local governments, members of the Armed Forces, individuals, corporate bodies and private organisation among others.
