The Jigawa state Police command has promoted six officers to various ranks.
Decorating the promoted officers, the state Commissioner of Police, Usman Sule Gomna, said the Inspector General of Police has approved their promotion to various ranks as a result of hard work and dedication to duty.
He said one Deputy Commissioner of police (DCP) was promoted to the rank of a Commissioner of police (CP), two Assistant Commissioners of police (ACP) were promoted to Deputy Commissioner of police (DCP) and four CSP were promoted to the rank of the Assistant Commissioner of police respectively.
The Commissioner of police also called on the remaining officers across the ranks and files to work hard and dedicate themselves to the service of the nation so as to attract their rewards and promotion.
He therefore promised that Jigawa state will continue to be the safest sate in the country, as criminals have no hidden place anywhere.
Responding on behalf of his colleagues, DCP Bashir Ahmed urged his colleagues to put in more effort in fighting crimes to justify the confidence reposed in them. Because to whom much is given more is expected.
