Jigawa: 58 sacked Policemen appeal for payment of allowances

Fifty-eight policemen, who were attached to the Jigawa State House Assembly, but sacked by the Speaker, have appealed for the payment of their six months allowances.
The 58 men and officers of the Nigerian Police force who performed special duty  in the Jigawa state House  Assembly for six months and were sacked by the Speaker of the House Rt. Hon. Idris Garba Jahun.
The appeal was contained in the anonymous statement ,which it said that in view of the redeployment , they received from office of the Hon. Speaker on the November 5th, 2015 via  a circular No JHA\adm\42\vol. i\158’’, we kindly and respectfully  solicit  his cooperation and help to pay them their due paid allowances.

They stated that they were under hardship due to nonpayment of the six months’ allowances and were under intense pressure from their creditors.
