IPSCL Global Headquarters to observe 2023 in Nigeria – Official

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed the participation of the Global Commandment of the International Police Chaplain Sustainable Development and Law Enforcement Inc., as an observing group in this year’s General Elections in Nigeria.

A statement issued in Abuja on Saturday by Mr. Emmanuel Daudu, the media aide to the Nigerian Collaborator Ambassador, Captain Blessing Akinlosotu, said the Secretary of the commission, Ms. Rose Oriaran Anthony, confirmed the body’s participation in a letter dated January 13, 2023.

He said: “The letter states that “as an accredited observer group, you will be allowed to observe all electoral processes as outlined in the commission’s reviewed regulations and guidelines for the conduct of elections.

“Your organisation is required to process the online submission of your field on a state-by-state basis by completing the forms. The field observers presented by your organization would be given identity cards and information kits”.

The statement also quoted Akinlosotu saying that the International Police Chaplain IPCSL will be represented by a delegation from 13 countries.

He said: “We will observe the two elections of February 25 and March 11, and we will be in the polling stations and will publish a report no later than March 30 as required by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Electoral Commission of Nigeria which accredits the various observation missions. This delegation of the IPCSL will be led by the Togolese Ambassador, Colonel Johaness M. MAKOUVIA, Africa Coordinator of the IPCSL.

“Also, Ambassador Gnl Wilkenson CESAR, Vice-President of the Superior Council of IPCSL Florida, USA, Head of the central administration, said the planning is underway so that everything goes normally and that a note of satisfaction can sanction the mission” because Nigeria is the heart of Africa, we must take good care of it”.
