Insecurity: Sen. Bwacha advocates constitutional roles for royal fathers

Deputy Senate Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha, Monday  called  for the provision of a constitutional role for traditional institution as part of measures to check insecurity in the country.

Bwacha, who made the call in Jalingo while speaking to newsmen stated that the inclusion of the traditional institution into the security architecture of the nation’s security would go a long way in the area of intelligent gathering.

He stated that the anticipated constitutional review would consider security reforms.

He called on all citizens to be awake on issues of security and safety as the situation concern all and sundry.

He said the security situation in Nigeria should be of concern to all citizens and leaders on their part should be proactive in handling security issues.

Bwacha called on Christians to pray for leaders beginning from the president to councilors.

He also urged the people of Taraba to live in peace and harmony with one another during and after Easter.
