INEC officials arrive Matawalle’s polling unit at 10am

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials arrived governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s polling units at Kanwuri Buga Buga 01 and 02 in Maradun Town the headquarters of Maradun local government area at around 10:00am for the conduct of presidential and national assemblies election today.

Blueprint reports that electorates have veen waiting for the accreditation since 8:00am.

Our Correspondent also observed that effective security has been put in place to ensure peaceful exercise in Maradun Town the home town of governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle. 

However local government areas of Bungudu and Maru that are  closed to Gusau the state capital visited by our Correspondent observed that the INEC officials arrived at around 8:00am and started the accreditation of voters.

On the turn out of electorates, our Correspondent reports that people came out enmass to franchise their civic right in Maru, Bungudu and Maradun local governments as early as possible.
