I’m focused on serving my principal – Niger SSG

Secretary to the Niger state Government (SSG), Hon. Saidu Ndako Idris Kpaki, has said that he was more focused and dedicated to serving his boss, Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, till the end of his administration.
According a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Press Matters, Musa Umar Bologi, he made the vow while reacting to publications about his political ambition in one of the national dailies.

He said he would not be deterred by insinuations “of some disgruntled elements about his political ambition” and, therefore, remained focused on helping the governor to move the state forward.
He said as a loyal appointee of the Chief Servant, he was more determined to work for him to achieve his objective of transforming Niger state to be amongst the three topmost state economies in the country by the year 2020.

The statement said: “As loyal mentees of the Chief Servant, everybody in his cabinet believes that the only thing he/she can do to help this dynamic leader, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, to achieve all his desires for the state is to give him all the unflinching support he desires.”

The SSG said the present administration was built on the “principles of good governance, probity, and due diligence,” and called on Nigerlites to continue to support and cooperate with the administration in order to improve the lots of the people.
