How I intend to transform Nigeria’s real estate sector – Nwadavid Charles

Real estate can be a tricky industry, but Nwadavid Charles has proven that anything is possible with hard work and a solid plan. In this exclusive interview, we speak with the founder of Chavid Properties to get an inside look at how he’s built a successful business and what motivates him. Mr Nwadavid Charles is a visionary entrepreneur and the founder of ChaviD Properties Limited. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, he started his career in the real estate sector as a rental agent before becoming a significant player in the sales of houses. He later ventured into estate development to positively impact humanity and address the national housing deficit in Nigeria.

Mr Charles, can you tell us about your philosophy regarding business and life?

My philosophy is based on the principle that we become what we habitually think about. I believe that success is not just about making money but about positively impacting the world. As an entrepreneur, I strive to create value and solve societal problems through my business.

What inspired you to start ChaviD Properties Limited?

I was inspired by the need to address Nigeria’s housing deficit and contribute to the country’s sustainable development. Nigeria has a growing population and a massive demand for affordable and sustainable housing. ChaviD Properties Limited was created to bridge this gap by providing quality and affordable homes to Nigerians.

What is your vision for the future of real estate in Nigeria?

My vision is to transform the real estate sector in Nigeria by promoting sustainable development and innovation. I believe technology can play a vital role in improving the industry and making it more efficient. We also need to focus on creating smart cities and communities that are environmentally friendly and provide a high quality of life for residents.

What are your hobbies, and how do you balance them with your work?

In my free time, I enjoy reading books, travelling, and playing golf. Having hobbies and interests outside work is essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. It allows me to recharge my batteries and return to work with a fresh perspective. I also believe in delegating tasks to capable team members, which helps me to focus on the areas where I can make the most impact.
