Nnewi will host the Nigeria Beach Soccer League 2024 from 15th to 19th May, the first time the South East will ever hosts the event.

Hadejia also thumbs up the efforts of Anambra Beach Soccer Association under the leadership of Professor Victor Madubuko for coming up with the facilities that can promote beach soccer in Nigeria.

“I must commend the Anambra Beach Soccer Association led by Professor Victor Madubuko and his team you know, for coming up with the promotion of beach soccer in Anambra state. They’ve been able to put up a wonderful facility for beach soccer one of its kind in the country. And one of the very few that we have.

“I think Anambra is ready to go. We’ve been engaging every now and then. And I remember even last year, some of our officials went there to inaugurate them. This is the very first time that we’re going to meet and I’m really excited. I can’t wait to be in Anambra.
