Herders again in Benue

I’m very glad that this media is permitting me to air my view to the public. It is very unfortunate that the country called Nigeria is in a mess. When a serving governor is being treated for standing for justice and equity, fairness for his people.

With the situation in Benue state, I would be glad, if other states can emulate it. Ekiti state has taken a good dimension by asking all the farmers and herdsmen or cattle rearers to register because in the 21st Century, I’m surprised that there is a set of humans that are still used to non-civilisation. It is cumbersome for people to still practice ascent time business. If they refuse to change, let others change them for the good of all of us. There is no tribe in the world that doesn’t have crime, therefore, let government support anybody that wants to assist government to bring people to justice. Let’s support what the Benue state governor Samuel Ortom is try to do to the criminal elements that are terrorising the people of Benue state, especially the farmers.

With what is happening now, Benue should be a lesson to others. We don’t pray for anything to happen to the Benue state governor, but I can tell he is a hero for defending his people, because that is what leadership is all about. When I hear some people talk about the issue, I shudder, because the north I belong to has disappointed me. Nobody can call these people to order, what a pity. The same set of people are destroying the region in the name of banditry, kidnapping innocent people, they can’t differentiate between experts and ordinary Nigerians.

I’m surprised that the northern leaders, who are supposed to support Governor Ortom, so that the north can bounce back as a leading region, are busy condemning the governor. if we don’t condemn criminals, and we try to look at it sentimentally, the north of our dream can’t come to be. The north’s education has been destroyed by the same set of people, yet some groups would be there supporting them. It is a pity.

Let’s know that whatever contribution you did to destroy your fatherland, out of selfish interest you would account for it hereafter. This is the main reason there is judgement day.
