Guinness Record: You’re an inspiration to millions of Nigerian youth, Akwa Ibom governor tells Hilda Baci  

The Guinness Book of Record candidate, Hilda Baci originally called Miss Hilda Effiong Bassey who took the social media by storm for her four- day marathon cook has received another commendation by the Akwa Ibom state governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel.

In a telephone conversation with Hilda Sunday evening, the governor said the young record breaker who will soon overtake the British Chef record, represents best attributes of the Dakkada philosophy of the state. 

Hilda Baci, aging 27 is an indigene of Nsit Ubium local government area of Akwa Ibom state, but runs a fast food company in Lagos. 

Emmanuel, according to his chief press secretary, Mr Ekerete Udoh, spoke with the chef via a telephone call from Uyo shortly  on arrival from an official engagement outside the country.

He told her that she is an inspiration to millions of Nigerian youth.

Emmanuel praised Hilda’s passion and determination to break the Guinness World record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

He said: “This is what our Dakkada philosophy is all about, the determination to dare and conquer what others assume to be impossible. The Akwa Ibom state governor- elect, Pastor Umo Eno, had sent his message of encouragement to Hilda.
