A group, under the aegis of Concerned Edo Citizens Forum (CECF) has expressed confidence in the capability of Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe,
a governorship aspirant in the Edo State 2024 guber poll.
The group said the aspirant’s “manifestoes captured the entire pains of the people and provided solutions to the problems confronting Edo state.”
The concerned forum led by Mr. Endurance Dirisu Coordinator made this known to journalists in Benin City.
Umakhihe, a retired federal perm secretary, recently declared his interest to contest the Edo state guber poll on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.
Continuing, Dirisu lauded the aspirant intellectual sagacity in outlining his manifestoes to include accessible health, agricultural revolution, youths and women empowerment, transportation, SME Growth and development, Infrastructure.
He commended the people for the massive turnout to show support at the declaration, adding, “Umakhihe’s pedigree speaks volume and would give him the needed support and nomination for governorship ticket.”
