Gov Ishaku urges new chief Judge to be fair to all

Taraba state Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku on Sunday urged the new chief judge of Taraba State, Justice Philibus Andhetur to be fair to all in the dispensation of justice.

Ishaku, who stated this in Jalingo while interacting with judges in the state said with the information at his disposal, he is convinced that the new chief judge will give a good account of himself and make the judiciary in the state proud.

According to him, “the judges in the state have done well and therefore the individual appointed from among them to lead would certainly not disappoint.”

He explained that second tenure of his administration would consolidate on the gains of his first tenure and called for peace so that the development of the state will continue uninterrupted.

On his part, Justice Andhetur assured the governor of the cooperation of the judiciary in order to ensure the success of his rescue programme.

He said, “The judiciary in the state would help the government in ensuring peace so that the rescue mission of the government would not be derailed.”
