Gombe House minority leader decamps to PDP

Gombe state House of Assembly minority Leader, Ahmed Usman Haruna has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Announcing his defection from APC to the PDP at the House plenary session yesterday, Ahmed Usman Haruna, who is representing Gombe north constituency, revealed that it was necessary for him to leave APC for the PDP, because the APC failed to meet the aspiration and yearnings of the people they represent.
He said the party at national level also failed to address his grievances, after the party in the state suspended him without duly following the construction.
Also speaking, the state Speaker, Abubakar Nasuru Nono received the new member of the party and congratulated him saying he will not regret his decision
