AC Milan youngster Victor Eletu is expected to join the Flying Eagles for the U20 World Cup in Argentina any moment this weekend.
Flying Eagles spokesman Sharif Abdallah confirmed this to SCORENigeria.
According to reports, Eletu has been granted his entry visa to Argentina in Milan after club engagements stopped him from joining the squad in Abuja.
The highly-rated defensive or central midfielder is meant to arrive in time for next week’s World Cup warm-up clash against fellow qualifiers Colombia in Buenos Aires.
His presence is expected to shore up a midfield that lacked creativity at the recent U20 AFCON in Egypt, where the Flying Eagles placed third.
The Flying Eagles open their World Cup campaign on Sunday, May 21, against the Dominican Republic in Mendoza.
Five-time champions Brazil and Italy are also drawn in the same Group D.
