Fresh Bellingham boost for Real Madrid

Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham has returned to training with Los Blancos after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Bellingham pulled out of England’s Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia after suffering a shoulder injury.

The midfielder reported for international duty despite missing Real Madrid’s last two games but was withdrawn from the squad and returned to Spain for treatment.

Madrid have now offered an update on Bellingham with a post on social media showing him back in training with Los Blancos.

The England star’s return to training will be a huge boost for Madrid ahead of the return of La Liga after the international break. Bellingham has been in inspirational form for Carlo Ancelotti’s side since joining the club in the summer from Borussia Dortmund and leads the Pichichi race in Spain’s top flight, with 10 goals from just 11 outings.
Madrid will also be eager for Bellingham to return after losing Eduardo Camavinga and Vinicius Jr to injury. Camavinga will not return until 2024 due to a knee problem, while Vinicius has been ruled out for 10 weeks with a torn hamstring.

Bellingham has won nine points for Real Madrid this season with his 10 goals. Only Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski (10 points from seven goals) has been more productive in La Liga in 2023-24.

Madrid will be hoping to have Bellingham available for Sunday’s trip to Cadiz. Los Blancos head into the match having drawn two of their last four league games to sit two points behind surprise early leaders Girona.
