An upcoming make-up artist, Ms Oluchukwu Ezeobi, was reportedly stabbed to death at the popular Emma Nnaemeka street, Awka, Anambra State while jogging (exercising herself) at about 6.30am on Monday.
Blueprint learnt that the deceased, also known as Luchy Belle, met her untimely death when allegedly dragging her android phone with the assassins who had accosted her in the early morning jogging.
A source who preferred to lie low told our Correspondent: “the reason for the attack on the beautiful lady is yet to be determined. But I learnt her phone was collected by the killers. She passed away instantly and her corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.
Confirming the report, Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Muhammed, said: “Yes, I have confirmed from the DPO Central Police Station Awka, the incident took place around 6:30 am while the victim was Jugging. The miscreants tried to snatch her handset and she resisted hence she was stabbed.”
