Edo: Ex-deputy gov backs Imuse-led APC

A former deputy governor of Edo state and a governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Pius Odubu, has expressed optimism in the leadership qualities of the party’s Chairman, Col. David Imuse (Rtd).

He said Col. Imuse has positioned the APC for victory ahead of the September guber poll.

Odubu also said the APC chair took over the mantle of leadership at a time “the party needed an experienced, impartial, enlightened and steadfast leadership, and we are so proud of the leadership you have so far provided and the stability you have brought to party.

In a statement issued to felicitate with the party chairman on the occasion of his birth anniversary,  the governorship aspirant said, “I join your friends, family and our fellow party members to celebrate and felicitate with you, Col. David Imuse (Rtd), the Edo state APC Chairman.

“I have known you for quite sometime now within which period I have found in you a morally upright personality, with an extremely high sense of responsibility.

“As state chairman of our great party, your focused and inspirational leadership has positioned Edo state APC for victory at all times. I have no iota of doubt in your administrative capacity and your ability to lead our party APC to victory in the forthcoming governorship elections in a few months time.

“On this occasion of your birthday anniversary, my fervent prayer is that the Almighty God continues to keep you in good health, prosper your endeavours, protect your wonderful family.”
