DG NYSC warns corp members against use of fake documents in Camp

The Director General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, has warned prospective corps members against the use of fake documents during registration process in camp.
He said such individual if caught, would be handed over to the law enforcement agents for prosecution.


A statement signed on behalf of the director, Press and Public Relations by Mrs Bakare Josephine, on Wednesday in Abuja said the DG gave this warning while monitoring the registration procedure of prospective Corps Members deployed to FCT and Nasarawa State for 2019 Batch “B” Stream One service year in their separate Orientation Camps.


He said management has put in place adequate machinery to clamp down and prosecute anyone caught. 
Ibrahim advised them to be security conscious and embrace the skills acquisition programme of the scheme to become  self empowered and wealth creators.
The NYSC boss also enjoined them to be law abiding and patriotic to the ideals of NYSC Sheme.
