A university don, Professor Adebayo Animasahun, weekend identified creativity and innovation as tools for national and economic stability for Nigeria.
The professor of Counseling and Human Development at the University of Ibadan, stated this at a seminar and induction of eminent Nigerians who bagged honorary award from Prowess University and IAMPS, held at the conference centre of the University of Ibadan and hosted by Uniplan Integrated Services Limited.
He said creativity and innovation are the bane for development in Nigeria, especially at a time like this when the country is facing many challenges, ranging from insecurity to fall in the price of naira, as well as economic hardship, added that for Nigeria to experience national development, government must pay attention to the young people as the psychological well-being of citizens can aid development as well as political reforms, as business and educational changes can take Nigeria out of it current challenges.
