Court of Appeal judge is dead

A judge of the Court of Appeal, Justice Lokulo-Sodipe, has passed on.

He slumped and died while preparing for a sitting in Akure, Ondo state capital.

Confirming the report, the immediate past chairman of the Akure branch of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Rotimi Olorunfemi, announced the incident on a Whatsapp platform.

He wrote, “Just confirmed it (the judge’s death) it is true. He collapsed in the office at Court of Appeal, Akure this morning. Was rushed to the hospital but confirmed DOA (Death on Arrival).”
