The Chief Medical Director of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, (DASH), Lafia Nasarawa state, Dr. Ikrama Hassan, Thursday, bagged a prestigious Award for outstanding performance and media friendliness by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Nasarawa state council.
The award was presented by the national president of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Comrade Chris Isiguzo as part of the activities to crown the NUJ press week in Lafia.
Accepting the award, Dr. Hassan expressed happiness on his recognition by the Union and spoke on his continued determination to support Journalists in the state.
He added that he would continue to be media friendly due to the role of the media in propagating what “We are doing to the people of Nasarawa state.”
