Census: NPC reiterates commitment to deliver credible, acceptable headcount

The National Population Commission (NPC) has again reiterated its commitment to deliver credible and acceptable census to Nigerians.

The honourable federal commissioner representing Enugu state, Ejike Ezeh, gave the assurance in his office in Enugu Wednesday, amid jubilation by members of staff who staged a brief welcome ceremony and congratulated him on  his reappointment as federal commissioner.

Ezeh stated that the commission was waiting for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s order to commence the census exercise, adding that the NPC  would stop at nothing to ensure a credible and acceptable census.

Eze thanked President Tinubu for finding him worthy to be reappointed and as well commended the staff for their demonstration of love and oneness.

He assured the management of his readiness to continue working together with them, adding that they would get whatever that is due to them at the appropriate time.

“The task now is that we have been reappointed by the president and we are looking forward to give the country a credible and viable census. That is the task now for NPC,” he said.
