…Cautions APC stakeholders on thuggery

Chairman Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Abdullahi Adamu Candido, has called on All Progressive Congress (APC) to shun the use of youths as thugs during the campaign.
Candido made the call yesterday during the presentation of four vehicles donated to Wuse, Garki and City Centre wards by YS support groups to the APC AMAC Chairman, Alhaji Abbas Baba (pillar), to support Candido at the ward level.
He condemned the use of thugs in politics, adding that those seeking leadership positions should do away with the service of thugs, noting that “they only cause violence.”
The chairman also commended the APC ward leaders for their patience and contributions to the party’s progress and his second term bid.
Speaking in the same vein, a member representing AMAC/Gwari federal constituency, Zaphania Jisalo, commended Candido for his “good leadership style,” saying that “anybody that thinks of coming to unseat him is a dreamer, because he is going to mobilise to crush that person to fail.”
The law maker called on residents to vote for Candido for second term, noting that “he has done what other chairmen did not do during their tenures.”
In his remarks, the chairman of party in AMAC, Alhaji Abbas Baba, charged party members to always promote the interest of the party and advised them to do away with any act capable of bringing crisis to the party.
