Nigeria’s representatives in the second tier continental cup, Plateau United have left Nigeria for Libya ahead of Wednesday’s CAF Confederations Cup Play-off 2nd leg tie against Al-Akhdar.
The Jos based team left the shores of the country through Murtala Mohamed International Airport, Lagos aboard a Qatar Airways flight to Doha before connecting another flight to Benghazi, Libya.
The travelling party which comprises, players, coaches and other backroom staff was led by the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, Executive Committee member, representing the North-East geopolitical zone, Timothy Henman.
