Trading activities at the nation’s equity market yesterday returned to bullish trend, gaining N50 billion.
Specifically, Market Capitalisation of listed equities increased by 0.38 per cent to N13.313 trillion from N13.263 trillion reported on Wednesday.
The NSE All Share Index also appreciated by 96.06 basis points to 25520.97 points from 25424.91 traded the previous day.
Investors traded 236.481 million shares valued at N1.647 billion I. 3251 deals against 269.629 million shares worth N2.871 billion exchanged hands the previous day in 4155 deals.
The result showed that Zenith Bank PLC led gainers table during the day, appreciating by N0.55 kobo to close at N16.95 kobo, MTN Nigeria Communications followed with a gain of N0.50 kobo to N120.00, Guaranty Trust Bank gained N0.45 kobo to close at N24.75 kobo, C &I Leasing added N0.30 kobo to close at N3.85 kobo, Access Bank PLC increased by N0.25 kobo to close at N6.75 kobo.
