Leaders and elders from six geo- political zones on Sunday endorsed Presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), saying the incubent President Muhammadu Buhari has failed the nation.
The elders and leaders comprise of Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Afenifere, PANDEF among others.
Speaking one after the other at a summit of Nigerian leaders in Abuja on Sunday, some of the leaders described President Muhammadu Buhari as “a non-fit president.”
The leaders said Nigeria is not only in trouble currently but there is a constitutional crisis under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I join the Ohaneze, the Afenifere, the Northern Elders Forum and on behalf of the Niger Delta people, Atiku is our presidential candidate,” Chief Eldwin Clark stated at the event.
