Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci Monday evening stretched her cooking hours to 100 non-stop.
Cook-a-thon competition, taking place at the Amore Gardens, Lekki, is making waves with many flooding the place to cheer Baci.
She was initially scheduled to stop at 4 pm on Monday May 15, 2023, culminating in her former 96-hour target to surpass the current Guinness World Record holder for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual”.
Baci commenced her marathon cooking challenge four days ago, which has gained her recognition from Nigerians, including high-profile officials in the country, who praised her remarkable accomplishment.
She had surpassed Indian chef Lata Tondon, who cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes to win the last Guinness World Record for longest cooking session.
