Day after bandits struck and kidnapped students, teachers and other in a government school at Kagara, unknown gunmen have again invaded communities in Gurmana ward of Shiroro Local Government Area (LGA) of Niger State.
Sources said Sarkin Zama, Bakin Kogi (Lagbe), Siyiko, and other adjoining villages were Wednesday evening invaded by gunmen, who stormed the villages in their large numbers.
Blueprint also gathered that many lost their lives as a result of the attack, while some others sustained injuries.
While casualty level was not ascertained as at the time of writing this report, Police were yet to make any official statement on the reported incident.
