Ministerial nominee, Abbas Balarabe, has collapsed at his ongoing screening at the senate chamber.
Shortly after his collapse, the Senate went into immediate closed session.
Abbas was nominated by President Bola Tinubu as a replacement for former Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
Abbas collapsed while he was at the podium introducing himself to lawmakers during plenary.
Prior to Abbas appearance, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, another nominee, had addressed the Senators.
