Breaking: Another Bauchi gov’s appointee resigns

Mohammed Musa Kirfi, a principal private secretary to governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state on Friday resigned his position.

Blueprint reports that kirfi is the fourth top appointee in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ledgovernment that abdicated their seats since the inception of the present administration two years ago in the state.

The other three cabinet members who resigned included the former chief of staff of the Bauchi government house Alhaji Abubakar Kari, former commissioner of finance Alhaji Nura Manu Soro and the Special adviser on political matters Alhaji Shitu Zaki.

Reacting to the resignation of the governor’s principal private secretary, the state PDP publicity secretary Alhaji Yayanuwa Zainabari said people who resigned are those unable to discharge the responsibilities assigned to them.

According to him, anyone that feels that he is incapable of discharging the duties of his office can resign as the governor is determined to deliver good governance.

He said the governor had replaced the resigned officials with better and more competent persons.

However, efforts to get the former principal private secretary professor Mohammed Musa kirfi to speak on the development proved abortive as his phone line was switched off as at press time.
