After a goalless draw against the Republic of Ireland in their final 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup group fixture early Monday, the Nigeria’s Super Falcons are through to the round of 16.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria recorded a 0-0 draw to become the first African team to go through from the group stage at the 2023 World Cup.

The best chance of the first half came the way of Barcelona star Asisat Oshoala who shot wide from a ball by Uchenna Kanu.

The Super Falcons struggled to build out from the back but Ireland despite dominating possession struggled to create much.
