Borno State House of Assembly (BOSHA) has finally deliberated, assented and confirmed the list of 26 LGC Transition Committee which was dissolved on Monday at the expiry of six months in office.
This was in line with the provision of the Borno State House of Assembly Local Government Administration Law 2020 as ammended.
In compliance with the provision, Governor Zulum had submitted the official list of the new LGC transition caretaker committee to the house for confirmation and approval.
The state assembly sitting Tuesday subsequently confirmed the same list the governor officially communicated to the house without any amendment or replacement.
This is coming about a week after the re-appointment or replacement of all the dissolved General Managers of Boards, Departments and Parastatals as well as all the Special Advisers (SA) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants.
The confirmation was without any change or replacement or even change of office except the office Special Adviser on Special Duties to the Governor that was separated from the office of Special Adviser Monitoring & Evaluation to the Governor.
Some of names of the transition caretaker chairmen announced by the House of Assembly included Ali Umara Bolori, Askira Uba, Abdullahi Adhijo,. Malam Sule Ali, Inuwa Bwala, Damboa Habu Daja, among others.
