Blueprint publisher, Malagi, dazzles Senators as Tinubu sends new ministerial list

President Bola Tinubu has forwarded to the Senate, names of fresh nominees for ministerial appointments.

List containing names of the nominees, was submitted to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio by the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, during plenary on Wednesday, at exactly 3.20pm.

Before the submission of the list , the Senate had in line with its ongoing screening being carried out on ministerial nominees, had before it, Mr Dele Alake, from Ekiti state and Mohammed Idris Malagi from Niger state.

While Alake was grilled for about one and half hours by different senators, Mohammed Idris Malagi, who is the publisher of Blueprint Newspapers and Chairman of WE FM 106.3, spent just 40minutes with submissions that dazzled many of the Senators.

Apparently impressed with his submissions, Senator Aliyu Wadada (SDP Nasarawa West), said,,”The man before us , is a round peg, waiting to be fixed in round hole.

“He is a great contributor to the education and enlightenment of the citizenry. He as a private sector player, contributed immensely to the socio – economic development of Nigeria.

“He has the competence to serve in whatever capacities that would be assigned him ,when confirmed as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and member of Federal Executive Council,” he said.
