Bauchi gov appoints new SSG


Four days after he sacked his cabinet including secretary to the state government and all the commissioners, governor Bala Mohammed Tuesday appointed a new secretary to the state government.


The new SSG Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim was until his appointment the director general Bauchi State Bureau for Privatization and Economic Reforms.


According to a press release issued by the Special Adviser media to the governor Mukhtar Gidado on Tuesday, Kashim hails from Bauchi local government area of the state.


The statement added that the new SSG is a retired director in the presidency who worked in the Bureau for Public Enterprises (BPE).


Earlier on Saturday, Bala appointed Aminu Gamawa who was ex commissioner of budget and planning as new Chief Of Staff replacing Ladan Salihu.
