Bauchi ALGON elects new executives

The caretaker committee Chairmen in Bauchi State, yesterday lected the caretaker committee chairman of Toro local government ouncil, Dallami Tashan Durumi as the chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).

In his acceptance speech, Tashan Durumi expressed gratitude to the caretaker committee chairmen for finding him worthy to lead them and and promised to remain focus in the execution of the people’s oriented projects by the PDP led administration of Governor Bala Mohammed.

He reaffirmed the loyalty of the caretaker committee chairmen to the governor and the party, the People’s Democratic Party and solicited for the support of people at the grassroots so as to succeed in the task of providing them with good governance.

The ALGON chairman announced the appointment of the caretaker committee chairman of Jama’are local government council, Inuwa Abdullahi Moisha as PRO of the association.

On his part, the PRO of the association, Inuwa Abdullahi Moisha promised that the caretaker committee chairmen would work together to provide better services to people in their respective local government with the support of the state government.

Inuwa Moisha said the caretaker committee chairmen of Alkaleri, Dambam and Gamawa have been elected as vice chairmen, South, Central and North zones of the state respectively to assist the ALGON chairman in the management of the association.
