Balarabe’s death national loss – ADC

 

National Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC) Ralph Okey Nwosu has described the death of former governor of old Kaduna state, Alhaji Balarabe Musa as national loss.
He then urged the federal and state governments to immortalise the sage. 

Speaking when he led a delegations of the party to the Kaduna residence of the late Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) Leader on Wednesday, Chief Ralph Nwosu, described the death of Alhaji Balarabe Musa as a huge national loss given his steadfastness, patriotic contributions, and zeal in fighting for the unity, stability and development of Nigeria.
According to him, “Musa was an outstanding democrat, a forthright leader, and an embodiment of ideals. He spent the better part of his life championing the entrenchment of justice, equity, fairness, and rule of law in every sector of our national life, in spite of the challenges he faced.
“Our party commiserates with the Musa family, the government and people of Kaduna state as well as his friends and associates. We pray that the Almighty God grants eternal repose to his soul and fortitude to the family and the nation, at large, to bear this irreparable loss.”
“Alhaji Balarabe Musa was my mentor in the political arena and his philosophy should not be allowed to die with him. I want to call on the Federal Government to immortalise him, also government should turn his residence to a study centre.”

Speaking on the state of the country, Chief Nwosu urged Nigerians to join his party ahead of 2023, noting that his party is the hope for a new Nigeria where everyone will be treated equally. He expressed dismay about issues in the country especially, insecurity, saying that the leaders of security architectures in the country should wake up to their responsibility.
In his response, the son of the late elder statesman, Sagir Balarabe Musa, thanked the National leadership of ADC for the condolence visit. 
He assured them that the family will try to uphold the principle their father lived for by being just, transparent and fair to all.
