Army nabs 2 suspected Boko Haram fuel suppliers in Gombe

Troops of 301 Artillery Regiment have arrested two suspected Boko Haram terrorists’ fuel suppliers in Nafada, Gombe state.
Army spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Texas Chukwu, said the two suspects, Mohammed Adamu Zika, a driver, and Bukar Adamu Haji, assistant station manager, were arrested after a tip off.
He said troops had intensified efforts to arrest another accomplice at large.
“The two suspects are currently undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authority for prosecution,” he said.
The army had earlier warned fuel stations within Nafada general area from selling premium motor spirit (petrol) in large quantities to motorists.
