Taraba state governor, Darius Ishaku Wednesday pledged that he will support security services with more funds to boost logistics for maintenance of peace in the state.
Ishaku, who stated this in Jalingo during the 2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration said the safety of citizens was a top priority of the administration.
Ishaku, who was represented by his deputy, Haruna Manu, urged residents from both southern and central parts of the state to cooperate with troops of the Ayem Akpatuma 11 who were in the state to restore peace in the state.
He underscored the role of the armed forces in ensuring that the country remained together.
Ishaku also eulogised the sacrifice made by the armed forces for Nigerians to sleep with all their eyes closed.
