Arafat: Kwara board organises enlightenment programme for pilgrims

The Kwara state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Wednesday organised an enlightenment programme for its pilgrims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preparations for the Muna/Arafat programme.
The programme is in continuation of this year’s Hajj rites.
Saudi Arabian authorities have already declared Saturday August 9, as Arafat day.
Nigerian pilgrims are expected to start moving to Mina, where most Hajj rites would be performed..
The Executive Secretary of Kwara Pilgrims Board, Mohammed Tunde-Jimoh, said the board is organising the enlightenment to aid pilgrims on the do’s and don’t essentials of Hajj.
He said all pilgrims would be transported to Mina in the early hours of Friday and proceed to Arafat on Saturday.
Mohammed said the programme would equally feature special prayer for Kwara state and entire Nigeria.
He said all Kwara pilgrims are in good condition of health
