Alhassan Yusuf set for Super Eagles debut against Algeria

Alhassan Yusuf is now in line to make his long-awaited Super Eagles debut after he was handed his second invitation for a friendly against Algeria later in September, 2022

He was first called up for the friendlies against Mexico and Ecuador in May, but failed to make it to the USA due to visa hitch.

Box-to-box midfielder Yusuf has been in imperious form for Belgian league table toppers Antwerp so much that they have won their first eight league games thus far with him playing every minute.

He was subsequently rewarded with the Player of the Month Award by the club.

Alhassan will not only bring energy to the Eagles midfield, but also creativity and dare.

Super Eagles will take on Algeria on September 27 in Oran during the FIFA friendly window.

They will also play another friendly against World Cup-bound Portugal in Lisbon in November.
