3 abducted cattle breeders in Igangan regain freedom after N6m ransom

Three cattle breeders abducted by gunmen at Idi- Ope kidnapped at Idi Ope, village in Igangan, Ibarapa North local government area of Oyo state have regained freedom from their abductors.

According to the Convener of Igangan Development Advocate, Oladokun Oladiran, the three cattle breeders regained their freedom after payment of N6 million ransom by their families.

“Yes. They kidnapped three people on Sunday but they have been released. They were released on Monday after a ransom of six million naira was paid. They collected two million naira each.”he said.

It will be recalled that the cattle breeders were kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday while on the way to their cattle farm in Idi Ope

The cattle breeders, identified as Kabiru Oladimeji, Kazeem and Soka. were said to be ambushed on their way to visit the person who manages the ranch and whisked away into the nearby bush .
