2023 Kogi governorship election: Ebira residents in FCT drum support for APC’s Ododo

Ahead of the November 11 governorship election in Kogi state, Ebira residents in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have expressed their readiness to mobilise support for the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The residents who organised prayers for the success of his governorship bid also commended the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, who according to them, God used for Ododo’s emergence as APC’s governorship candidiate.

The Odovivi Engbira of Nyanya, Karu, Karshi and environs, Alhaji Momoh Aliyu Lawal, who spoke at the event, called on all Ebira residing in the FCT to mobilise all registered voters in their various households at home to cast their votes for Ododo at the polls.

He said: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome all of you to this important gathering of Egbira residents in Nyanya, Karu and environs. The gathering is aimed at rejoicing with our dear son, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the recent APC gubernatorial primary election in Kogi state and also to thank Almighty Allah for his mercies upon him.

“It might interest you to note that my congratulatory message is incomplete, if mention is (not) made of our dear governor, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello who is indeed a man of destiny whose emergence was a divine mandate ordained by God.

“He has indeed made Egbira proud by conducting a peaceful primary election that produces Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. I give thanks to Almighty Allah that has endowed him with wisdom to lead Kogi state to greatness in all ramifications.

“I humbly wish to request all Egbira tao residents in my domain to be proactive in mobilizing all registered voters in our various households at home to come out and cast their votes for our son come 11th November 2023.

“As Ebira residents in Karu/Nyanya/Karshi, FCT, we are praying fervently for your victory in the November 2023 Kogi state gubernatorial election. We pray for your good health and long life marked by remarkable accomplishments and great personal fulfillment as you continue to serve Kogi state.”
