2023: It’s autocratic, undemocratic to install a successor- ADC chair

The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Ralph Nwosu, has said that it was unconstitutional for political office holders in the country to forcefully impose successor on citizens.

Nwosu, who spoke Thursday during the official commissioning of the Akwa Ibom state party secretariat in Uyo, described the tendency as autocratic, tyrannical, and undemocratic which undermines the will of the people.

He explained that the emergence of ADC is to save the country from impending collapse and claws of insurgents currently flooding the nation with reckless abandon.

Nwosu warned politicians against using youths as thugs to achieve their selfless interest, instead, they should prepare them for leadership.

“Nigerian story is conjectured in a way that disturbs everybody. Anybody who says he or she is not affected is lying. We have seen APC in its lowest form.

“The blood that is shade in this country is beyond even the civil war. Just under six years of democratic rule, people are being slashed in almost every state and local government.

“our country is collapsing and may not survive few years to come which ADC is coming to the rescue.

“We should not push our youths into thuggery but should prepare them for leadership.

The ADC boss declared that the party will automatically take over the Akwa Ibom Government House come 2023 due to its preparedness and wide acceptance within and beyond the state.

He urged indigenes of the state to reject any form of bribery from corrupt politicians who would be coming to manipulate them against their will.

Also speaking, the flagship governorship aspirant of the party, Arch. Ezekiel Nya-etok commended the public for gradually buying into the party’s philosophy of radical transparency.

Nya-etok maintained that with his professionalism in architecture alongside a wide range of contacts, the state will witness a high level of development if elected into office as the governor of the state.
