The All Progressive Congress (APC), Zamfara state branch, has to commence the gubernatorial campaign for Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle on the December 27, 2022.
This was made known by the Matawalle campaign coordinator and former Zamfara state governor, Abdulaziz Yari, while inaugurating 14 local government areas campaign council ahead of 2023 election in Gusau, Sunday.
He said 20 members of the Matawalle’s campaign council were selected in each of the 14 local government areas of the state by his campaign council.
Yari stated that APC has concluded all its processes for the proper campaign activities for Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle in the state.
He stated that the 14 local government areas campaign councils were saddled with responsibility to prepare for the mobilisation of supporters and ensure they reach every nooks and crannies of their respective local government area for the successful campaign and victory of APC in the state.
Yari tasked local government areas campaign councils to work harmoniously with the party in the respective local government area for the peaceful and successful campaign for APC governorship candidate, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, in order to attain the desired goals.
“I want to call on all local government area campaign councils to remain law abiding citizens and work hand- in- hand with their respective local government APC leadership for the successful campaign for Governor Matawalle,” Yari stated.
APC in Zamfara will win all political positions come 2023.
He enjoined youths particularly APC supporters not allowed themselves to be in political thuggery during electioneering campaign, elections and beyond.
